  • Developing a strategic roadmap can be valuable at any stage of the college application process. A roadmap helps create clarity around priorities, timelines, and the path forward for each student.

    The process begins with a 45-minute family consultation to discuss goals, answer questions, and identify college planning priorities. Students and families also complete an intake questionnaire. Following the family consultation, students participate in a 60-minute one-on-one discovery and strategy session.

    Following these conversations, Alpine College Advisory provides a written summary with key insights and a personalized action plan. The process concludes with a 45-minute family consultation to review recommendations and discuss next steps.

  • College essays are an opportunity for students to stand out. The strongest essays rely as much on thoughtful brainstorming and story development as they do on effective writing and editing. Alpine College Advisory provides guidance throughout both.

    The process begins with a 45-minute family consultation to discuss goals, answer questions, and establish priorities. Students and families also complete an intake questionnaire. Before writing begins, students participate in a 60-minute discovery interview to explore their experiences and begin identifying the stories and themes they may want to develop.

    As the writing process progresses, students receive three rounds of essay feedback, each paired with a 60-minute coaching session to discuss revisions and next steps.

    Throughout the process, families receive progress updates and consultation as needed.

    Following these conversations, families receive a personalized list of college recommendations, along with a brief rationale for each recommendation. The written recommendations are followed by a 45-minute family consultation to review the list, discuss recommendations, and identify next steps.
